You may anticipate for names who made it to the top and who are well known locally, regionally, nationally and internationally because of their extended studies and special contributions to our town and the country as a whole. Regrettably, I dont have their pictures and bio data. In this page however, it is our intention to acknowledge the younger generations who demonstrated certain level of accomplishment.  

 In one of my conversations with Manang Teling de la Torre Alba who co-authored the Achievers of Ibajay, Aklan, Philippines, she mentioned to continue the work, which she and Mr. Sergio R. Calizo, Sr. had started. They are irreplaceable and neither can I make a great compilation of outstanding Ibajaynons but I felt honored when she offered me the task, so to speak Saeamat Nang Teling.

It is our sincere intention to acknowledge Ibajaynons, young or old, rich or poor, male or female who deserve to be recognized.
