The couple agreed to publish the basic steps they follow to come up with the finished product, nata.
Preparing and assembling the ingredients: water, coconut milk, sugar, glacial acetic acid, mother liquor (starter). Mixing the above ingredients. Pouring the mixed ingredients into a plastic tray Checking the tray after 7 days whether or not it is ready for harvesting. Actual harvest. After the harvest the nata is being washed and then sliced. Nata de coco is ready to be cooked. Finished product is a sweetened nata ( yellow) ready to be used for fruit salad or ice candy. Frozen ice candy with nata awaiting to be distributed in the market locally.
